Overall, I think this school is a good way to learn the basics of dentistry so you don’t go into the field completely unaware. The program gave helpful background knowledge and hands-on exposure; and I was also able to find employment through my externship, which I’m thankful for. My instructor, Shijuana, did a wonderful job with the resources she was given. She was supportive, patient, and genuinely cared about helping students succeed. However, I do wish there had been more than one instructor available at all times. When an additional instructor, Kiera, joined us, her support was very helpful and made a noticeable difference for the class. Having that level of assistance consistently would have helped the class run more smoothly and ensured everyone received timely attention and support. I also feel the graduation experience can be improved. A formal venue isn’t necessary, but it would have been nice to receive more recognition beyond being given graduation caps without gowns, especially considering the amount of money invested in this program. I loved this program! The staff were very helpful when I hit a rough spot I was able to extend my payment dates. Kiara and Sharonda spent the time needed to be sure that we understood everything that was taught to us. We had hands on experience, a clean learning space and environment, and my classmates were full of different personalities and everyone respected each other well. Read less

I’ve had a great experience in my dental assistant class! Ms. Kiera and Ms. Shijuana are both very supportive, patient, and knowledgeable.
